What’s up guys? Today I’m going to speak about Ethical Hacking or in other words how to hack according to ethics.
(Translation :-ඉතින් කොහොමද යාලුවනේ, ඔන්න මන්අදත් මගේ දුටු නොදුටු blog එකෙන් ඔයාලට කියලා දෙන්න යන්නෙ මොකක්ද මේ Ethical Hacking කියන්නෙ කියල ,එහෙමත් නැත්නම් අපි සින්හලෙන් කියනවනම්, කොහොමද මේ ආචාර ධර්ම වලට අනූකූලව Hacking කියන දේ පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ කියලයි.)

All of us, who may/may not be interested in hacking, know that there are good, as well as bad things in the world. Just like that, on this cyber space we can find good hackers (White, grey hackers)and also bad hackers (Black hackers) where, out of these two types, good hackers are the ones who use ethical hacking. So what do they do? They assure the security of the ‘system’ by using the various types of technologies they currently know. Not only that. They also alert us on risks which come or may come. In order to do so, they use tools and techniques which are used by Black hackers but good hackers do this with the permission of the relevant authorities.
(Translation :-ඉතින් අපේ Hacking ගැන උනන්දුවක් දක්වන,නොදක්වන හැම යාලුවෙක්ම දන්නවනෙ මේ ලෝකෙ හොද වගේම නරකත් පවතිනවා කියලා ,ඉතින් අන්න ඒ වගේ මේ ලෝකෙ හොඳ hackers (white ,grey hackers) ලා වගේම නරක hackers (Black hackers) ලත් අපි මේ සැරිසරන සයිබර් අවකාශයේ අනන්තවත් ඉන්නවා .ඉතින් යාලුවනෙ අන්න ඒ වගේ අයගෙන් මේ Ethical Hacking භාවිතා කරන්නෙ මම අර මුලින්ම කියපු White Hackers ලා,ඉතින් මෙයාල කරන්නෙ මෙයාල දන්න විවිධ තාක්ෂණයන් භාවිත කරල ඒ පද්ධතියේ (Syetem එකේ) ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කරන එක,ඒ විතරක් නෙමෙයි ,මෙයාල පද්ධති වලට එන ,එන්න පුලුවන් අවධානම් ගැනත් තහවුරු කරනවා ,මේ සදහා ඔවුන් මන් අර කලින් සඳහන් කරපු Black Hackers ලගෙ tools වගේම techniques පවා යොදා ගන්නවා,හැබැයි මොවුන්ඒවා කරන්නෙ අදාල බලදාරීන්ගෙත් අවසරය ඇතිවයි.)

Are there limitations for people who do ethical hacking? Yes of course. They are limited by the company or organisation which they are supporting. The relevant authorities would not allow that person to go to another company and also, if they want to improve their knowledge, they have to face attacks coming from outside but; it doesn’t happen always. Moreover, the cost is less to the people who work in the ICT field which is an advantage.
(Translation :- ඇත්තටම Ethical Hacking කරන අයටත් සීමා තියෙනවද? ( is that Ethical Hackers have limitation ?)...................ඔව් අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම ඔවුන් සීමා සහිතයි,මොකද ඔවුන්ට අනිවාර්යෙන්ම ඔවුන් සහය දක්වන Organiztion එකට හරි company එකට හරි සීමා වෙන්න සිද්ද වෙනවා (obviously,they are limited between their company or organization which they are supporting) ,මොකද අදාළ බලදාරීන් කවදාවත්ම එවැනි කෙනෙකු පිටස්තර company එකකට යාමට ඉඩ ලබා දෙන්නෙ නෑ ,ඒ වගේම ඔවුන්ගේ දැනුම දියුණු කරගන්නනම් අනිවාර්යෙන්ම පිටතින් එන බලපෑම් (Attacks) වලට මුහුණ දිය යුතුයි,එහෙත් එසේ සිදුවීම්ඉතා අල්ප වශයෙනුයි වෙන්නෙ,ඒ වගේම එවැනි පුද්ගලයකු තුලින් ICT (තොරතුරු සහ සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය) සදහා අදාළ පිරිසට ඉතා අඩු පිරිවැයක් දැරීමට සිදුවීම ඉතා වාසිද ායක තත්වයක් ලෙස සලකන්න පුලුවන් .)
What skills are required to become an ethical hacker? One of the skills is (known in the computer language) the deep knowledge of major & regular operating systems or in more simple words, the knowledge for the operating systems such as LINUX, WINDOWS, and MACINTOSH which are used in our day-to-day lives. You also require a deep knowledge in software, hardware and networking. Finally, you must have an advanced knowledge on technology in order to launch modern attacks.
(Translation :-Ethical Hacker කෙනෙකු වෙන්න අවශ්‍ය සුදුසුකම් මොනාද ? (what are the skills you should need to be a Ethical Hacker ?) ...........අපි මේකට කියන්නෙ deep knowledge of major & regular Operating systems කියලයි,එහි සරල හැදින්වීමනම් ,අපි එදිනෙදා ජිවිතේදි භාවිතා කරන LINUX, WINDOWS, MACINTOSH වගේ OS(Operating systems) ගැන ඉතා හොද දැනුමක් තිබීමයි. ,මෘදුකාංග (Software), ද්‍රඩාන්ග (Hardware) සහ ජාලකරණය (Networking) පිලිබඳව ඉතා පුලුල්දැනුමක් අනිවාර්ය වෙනවා,(deep knowledge of networking concepts,technologies & other related Software & Hardware),ඒ වගේම අවසාන වශයෙන් නවීන ප්‍රහාරයන් (Network or any other related cyber attcks) දියත් කිරීම සඳහා උසස් තාක්ෂණික දැනුමක් තිබීම අනිවාර්ය වෙනවා(Launch against cyber attacks).)
