After a day of silence, I came up with a topic which will tell you about the amazing as well as dangerous things that the thieves of the cyber space, in other words hackers, can do to us. So, just like every other day, lemme give you guys a brief intro to the topic.
(Translation :- ඉතින් කොහොමද යාලුවනේ දිනක නිහැඩියාවකින් පස්සේ මන් ඔයාලට අද කියන්න යන්නේ මේ මිහිපිටදි අපි එක මොහොතකටවත් සිදු වේවි කියල නොසිතන සයිබර් අවකාශයේ අන්තර්ජාල සොරු ,එහෙමත් නැත්නම් ඔයාලා අපි කවුරුත් දන්න Hacker වරුන්ට කරන්න පුලුවන් තවත් විශේෂ වගේම භයානක දේවල් කිහිපක් ගැන,ඉතින් මන් හැමදාම වගේ ලිපිය ආරම්භ කරන්න කලින් ඔයාලට පොඩි විස්තරයක් කියන්න ඕනි කියල හිතුනා.)
By now, many of us watch Hollywood movies, TV Series and Cartoon. When you watch these, haven’t you noticed about the hidden meanings which they try to show us via these methods? As it seen, they seem to be surreal activities but today, although some of these are still in the process of developing, others have already evolved. Just like this, many things which may not take too seriously are taking place in this cyber space and as a result, many New Security Systems are introduced. Out of the facts which I am going to tell you now, some of you may not have even imagined that they are taking place now-a-days, however that is the truth. So, let’s find out together what they are.
(Translation :- ඇත්තටම අපි ගොඩක් දෙනා මේ වෙනකොට Hollywood Movies,Tv Series වගේම Cartoons නරඹනවනේ ,ඒත් ඔයාලට නිකමටවත් හිතුනද මොවුන් ඒ දේවල් තුලින් අපිට කියන්න උත්සාහ කරන යථාර්තය මොකක්ද කියලා ,බැලූ බැල්මට අපි හැමෝම හිතන්නෙ ඒ දේවල් හුදු මනක්කල්පිත ක්‍රියාකාරකම් කියලයි.ඒත් අද වෙනකොට ඒ දේවල් බොහෝමයක් යථාර්ථයක් බවට පත්වෙමින් තියෙනවා වගේම ඉන් කිහිපයක් යථාර්තයක් වී අවසන් ,ඉතින් අන්න ඒ වගේ අපි නොසිතන ක්‍රියාකරකම් බොහෝමයක් මේ සයිබර් අවකාශය තුල සිදුවෙනවා වගේම එමගින් අලුත් ආරක්ෂණ පද්ධතීන් (New Security Systems) බොහොමයක් ලෝකයට දායාද වෙනවා.මන් මේ අද කියන දේවල් කීපයත් අපි ජීවිතේටවත් නොසිතන ඒත් ඇත්තටම මේ ලෝකයේ සිදුවෙන්න පුලුවන් දේවල් වගේම සිදුවුන දේවල් kකිව්වොත්මන් නිවැරැදි ,එහෙනම් ඉතිම් වැඩි විස්තර අපි මේ ලිපිය ලියන අත රතුර කතා කරමු.)
1. Distorting our genetics – Think, by hackingthey can steal all our personal information, crash our computers, only that? Actually, there’s no simple answer to any of these questions. If I explain it furthermore, suppose that with today’s technology, if via various treatments a chip or any other technological equipment is installed in our body, hackersin access it and inject malware into the system through the chip. By this they can either switch off the component or do many differences to its activity.
(Translation :- 1. ජාන විකෘති කිරීම (Explode our Genitals) - හිතන්නකො යාලුවනේ ,ඇත්තටම Hacking වලින් කරන්න පුලුවන් අපේ පුද්ගලික තොරතුරු සොරකම් කිරීම (stealing our personal informations),පරිගණක අකර්මණ්‍ය කිරීම (crasing our computer) පමණමද ,සරලම උත්තරයනම් නැහැ,එය තවත් විස්තර කළොත් ,හිතන්නකො අද ලෝකයේ තාක්ෂණික දියුණුවත් සමග අපේ ශරීර වලට විවිධාකාරයේ සැත්කම් වලින් අනතුරුව චිප් එකක් හෝ එවැනිම වෙනත් තාක්ෂණික උපකරණයක් සවි කලා කියලා ,ඉතින් අන්න ඒ උපකරණය හරහා ඔවුන්ට පුලුවන් Malware එකක් හෝ ඒහා සමාන දෙයක් එහි system එකට ඇතුල් කිරීමෙන් අපිට මේ බලපෑමක් ඇති කරන්න (inject malware into the system through the chip).ඇත්තටම මේ මගින් එම උපකරණය ක්‍රියා විරහිත කරන්න වගේම එහි වෙනස්කම් බොහෝමයක් ඇති කරන්නත් පුලුවනි.)
2. Cut our car breaks – This is another dangerous thing that is taking place. In this developing world, we all know that in the past two centuries’ evolutions, there are many digital activities inside a vehicle so if this system could be hacked not only our breaks but also the whole vehicle’s activity can be controlled by the hacker. Moreover, many scientists say that in the future many vehicles can be stolen due to this method.
(Translation :- 2.මෝටර් රථ තිරිංග ක්‍රියා විරහිත කිරීම (cut ours car brakes) - මෙයත් තවත් භයානකම දේවල් වලින් එකක් ,දියුණු වෙන ලොකයේ අපි හැමෝම දන්නවනෙ යාලුවනේ පසු ගිය දශක දෙක පුරාවටම අපි අතරට එන මෝටර් රථ තුල ඇති ඩ්ජිටල් ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය ගැන,ඉතින් මේ හරහා එම පද්ධතියක් තුලට යම් අයෙක් පිවිසුනහොත් ඔහුට තිරිංග පමණක් නෙමෙයි මුලු වාහනයේම ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය ඔහු යටතට ගන්න පුලුවන් කිව්වොත් මන් නිවැරැදි.ඒ වගේම බොහෝමයක් විශේෂඥයන් පවසන අන්දමට අනාගත්යේදී මේ හරහා බොහෝ වාහන සොරා ගැනීම් සිදුවෙන්න පුලුවනි.)
3. Control a nuclear power plant – Scott Lunsford, a researcher of the IBM Security System, is an ethical hackerwho successfully completed a challenge, which was launched by the proprietor of the American Power Plant, by taking complete control of this. Thus he proved that via the internet that the control of a nuclear power plant can be gained.
(Translation :- 3.නයෂ්ටික බලාගාර පාලනය (control a Nuclear power plant) - IBM security system පර්යේෂකයකු වන Scott Lunsford (He is a Ethical Hacker) හට වරක් සිදුකළ නොහැකී බවට ඇමෙරිකානු නයෂ්ටික බලාගාර අයිති කරුවෙකු කල අභියෝගයක් සාර්ථකව අවසන් කොට එහි පාලනය සියතට පත් කරගනිමින් අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා එය සිදු කළ හැකි බව මනාව පෙන්නුම් කරනු ලැබුවා,ඉතින් එයත් අද වනවිට යථාර්තයක් බවට පත්වී අවසන්,)
(Translation :- 4.ටෙලර් යන්ත්‍ර මගින් මුදල් ලබා ගැනීම (Shower in Free Money) - මෙයනම් අපිට පසුගිය දශකයේ දී අසන්න ලැබුන දෙයක්,ඒත් බොහෝ දෙනෙක් නොදන්නා නිසා මන් මේක ගැන ඔයාලට කියන්න හිතුවා,ඇත්තටම මේක මුලින්ම පෙන්වා දුන්නෙ අපි කවුරුත් දන්න Black Hat OS එකේ Security පර්යේෂකයෙක් වෙන Barnaby Jack (This guy also a Ethical Hacker)කියන පුද්ගලයා ,මොහු ඇත්තටම මේ සදහා භාවිත කලේ ඔහුගේ Laptop පරිගණකය සහ Jackpot නැමැති programme එක පමණයි .එමගින් ඔහු බොහොමයක් ATM යන්ත්‍රයන්ගෙන් කිසිම පුද්ගලයකු නොමැතිව cash withdrawals සහ ඒ සඳහා Bill පත්ද නිකුත් කරනු ආකාරය පෙන්වා තිබුනා.ඉතින් මෙයද අද යතාර්ථයක් බවට පත්වෙලා අවසන් යාලුවනේ,)
5.Crash the National Power Grid – It is planned that by 2020 a new system will be introduced to the current power and gas metres in England. They have expected to calculate the gas and electricity consumption online which in the future will be one of the major targets of the hackerswhere they can take the complete control and also shut down the whole Power Grid.
(Translation :- 5.ජාතික විදුලි බල පද්ධතිය බිද වැට්ටවීම (Crash the National Power Grid) - දැනට ලෝකයේ භාවිතා වන විදුලි මීටර වලට වඩා වෙනස් පද්ධතියක් (system change of power & gas meter ) 2020දී එන්ගලන්තය සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත බව සඳහන් වෙන අතර ,එමගින් ගෑස් සහ විදුලි පරිභෝජනය අන්තර්ජාලය හරහා එය භාවිතා වන මොහොතේදී ගණනය කිරීම සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත වී තියෙනවා.ඉතින් යාලුවනේ මීළඟ දශකයේ මෙය Hacker වරුන්ගේ නියත ඉලක්කයක් වීම කාටත් නොවැලැක්විය හැකියි මෙන්ම එමගින් ජාතික විදුලි බල පද්ධතිය බිද වැට්ටවීම ඉතා පහසු කාර්‍යයක් බවටත් පත්වෙනවා.)
